Jeannette DeVaris, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist

 

Dr. DeVaris is a graduate of Seton Hall University. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1987. She began working in her own practice in 1990 upon completion of the licencing requirements. She has had a office in Somerset, South Orange, and now Summit, New Jersey. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, and the Union Essex County Association of Psychologists. She has been on various sub-commmittees of the New Jersey Psychological Association.

She was trained in Family Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Mind-Body techniques that she learned more recently. This process led her to formulate a treatment approach that incorporates these treatment approaches to help clients to be more emotionally integrated and less burdened with various forms of emotional distress.
